A beautiful Sajou cross stitch chart for the Toile du Jouy Les Indiennes, in two designs.

The size of motifs are 60 x 65 points, which when sewn on 12 count embroidery linen measure 10 x 10.8 cm. They are repeatable design, so you can make them up design on a larger scale of you wish.

The embroideries can be worked into 12 count Sajou embroidery linens, the chart shows both the mustard and the off white.

The les indiennes design is one of several historical prints available for cross stitch that are taken from The Toile du Jouy Museum pattern archives.

This charts are also available in the following designs; Marley, Breteuil, Dampierre, Coquecigrues, Bonnes Herbes No.1 and Bonnes Herbes No.2

Sajou was created in 1828 by Jaques- Simon Sajou, selling haberdashery for embroidery, tapestry, lace, crochet and weaving. His pattern albums are sought after to this day by collectors worldwide. In 2005 the Sajou brand was purchased and revived by avid collector; Frederique Crestin- Billet. Many of the old designs have been faithfully reproduced and there are some new designs that have been added in the Sajou style.
