Sajou Sewing Box- Regional French Hats

A Sajou French vintage style sewing box with a design showing some of the styles of French regional hats.

The sewing box has 2 trays, the top one has ribbons either side for lifting the tray. There are plenty of delights contained in the box!

Included in the top tray there is a ribbon tape measure with the Sajou name and the measurements woven into the ribbon, a pair of 'Decouvit' scissors,- French made in tempered steel (the scissors are chrome plated and hand mounted- superb quality!) along with a 'Decouvit' seam ripper. There are 6 cocoons of 'Fil au Chinios' polyester sewing thread (each containing approx.150 meters), a needle threader and a chrome plated thimble.

The bottom tray contains a pin rosettes containing 40 Murano glass headed pins, a packet of 20 Sajou sewing needles (No. 3- No. 9) and 3 Sajou cards with pretty floral motifs for keeping ribbons or threads tidy.
