A gift set of 8 spools of Sajou Fil au Chinois Gloving threads.
The thread is a 2 ply, waxed, cotton thread, and was used in bygone days for sewing gloves. It is the perfect for applique, tambour beading and patchwork and gives a nice strong thread for all inds of sewing projects. The threads have a beautiful sheen and will not fluff or spoil during use.

Like all Fil au Chinois threads, the Gloving thread is lightly waxed. The thread is passed through a bath of starch and bee's wax before twisting. Because the wax does not sit on the surface of the thread there is no stickiness, the threads have a nice sheen and are resistant to fraying.
The set contains;
120 grey - 290 café au lait - 302 linen - 312 ecru - 525 red - 535 garnet - 594 pink - 895 holly.
The colour of the box may vary according to stock

The spools are classed as small parcels by Royal Mail due to their size.
