An antique edition of Paris Fashions, which was the English translated edition of the iconic French fashion magazine La Nouvelle Mode. The translation to English is in the first four pages, the rest of the magazine is the French edition in it's entirety.
This edition is dated September 21st 1901, Volume VIII, No. 194 on the front cover, the interior French version is dated with the same date of the 'Huitieme annee- No.38' which translates as 'The eighth year- No.38'.
The magazine is packed with fashion illustrations of the time, articles and adverts, there are embroidery designs along with a charted dressmaking pattern for an infants matinee jacket collar that can be drafted for use using the instructions.
The magazine is in good condition, there is a tear along the spine of the magazine and across the front midway, as seen in the photos. The inside pages of the magazine are all in excellent condition.
