An antique Anglo Indian silk panel with couched goldwork and spangled embroidery of trailing flowers from the early 1800's.
The panel is edged with gold passementerie.
The silk ground is in good condition for it's age, although there is some light fading and foxing to some areas as seen in the photos. The embroidery is in excellent condition, the gold threads and spangles still sparkle as new.
The panel is backed with a plain cotton fabric.
The panel measures 52 x 63.5 cm x / 20.5 x 25 inches.
