An antique edition of Paris Fashions, which was the English translated edition of the iconic French fashion magazine La Nouvelle Mode. The translation to English is in the first four pages, the rest of the magazine is the French edition in it's entirety.
This edition is dated January 25th 1901, Volume IX, No. 212 on the front cover, the interior French version is dated with the same date of the 'Neuvieme annee- No.4' which translates as 'The ninth year- No.4'.
The magazine is packed with fashion illustrations of the time, articles and adverts, there are embroidery designs and a charted dressmaking pattern for an child's jacket that can be drafted for use using the instructions. (the original pattern pieces are no longer present).
The magazine is in excellent condition.
