An antique edition of Paris Fashions, which was the English translated edition of the iconic French fashion magazine La Nouvelle Mode. The translation to English is in the first four pages, the rest of the magazine is the French edition in it's entirety.
This edition is dated February 1st 1902, Volume IX, No. 213 on the front cover, the interior French version is dated with the same date of the 'Neuvieme annee- No.5' which translates as 'The ninth year- No.5'.
The magazine is packed with fashion illustrations of the time, articles and adverts, there are embroidery designs and it also includes the original pattern pieces for the blouse (minus 3 pieces), along with a charted dressmaking pattern for a ladies blouse that can be drafted for use using the instructions.
The magazine has had an advert cut from the inside of the front cover as seen in the photos, the rest of the magazine is in excellent condition.
