An antique Victorian baby bonnet of Carrickmacross lace.
The bonnet is entirely hand sewn and has a floral motif to the crown. The sides have panels of leaves alternated with panels with a ditsy floral design. There is a drawstring to the outer edge for ease of fit.
The bonnet comes wrapped in a note on to which some has has hand written ' A little cap of Mrs Marshall's own work'
The bonnet is in unused condition, although there are a couple of small holes to the net.
