An unusual vintage 1970's evening bag with beading and hand embroidery to the front flap. The embroidery is worked over hand painted areas as is the beading. There is a simple scalloped needle lace trim to the edge of the front flap.
The bag has a ruched gusset and an interesting, shaped top handle
The bag is made from a very soft polyester type fabric and is lined with both the same fabric and a dark blue fabric to the reverse of the flap and the back of the interior.

9 x 8 inches/ 23.5 x 21 cm (laid flat & including the handle)
